How can Catherine Dudmesh Coaching HelpBusiness leaders can often find there is no one to turn to within the organisation, where trust and confidentiality can be an issue. Sometimes there is simply a need to consult a fresh and independent mind. At Catherine Dudmesh Coaching, I work with business leaders to help them think, re-think and challenge their actions and behaviours in a constructive and supportive manner. I work with business leaders to hone the leadership skills that are crucial in today's economy - for example, the skills needed to exert influence across organisational boundaries, to manage conflict, to create and articulate a vision and to deal with the aspects of growth, change and transition. My coaching sessions provide the safety and freedom to generate self-awareness about attitudes and behaviours, understand strengths and acknowledge development needs and then take steps to compensate for them. The coaching develops insights into personal motivation and values that enable the accelerated development of a business leader's emotional intelligence. Leaders need the time and space to think about their leadership style and a safe haven to try out and think through new ideas rather than make highly visible false starts - my coaching sessions provide that forum. Leaders of growing businesses often have to make a large step change in skills, responsibilities and performance because of the different requirements of the larger organisation - for example, developing personal effectiveness, strategic thinking and a 'hands off' approach to managing. Catherine Dudmesh Coaching supports individuals to make this transition and deal with the stresses associated with it, reflecting on new working styles, behaviours and relationships. As coach, I will listen, reflect, create new frames of reference and explore values, motivations and feelings and heighten self-awareness, providing a framework to facilitate strategic thinking. It is a process that is practical and action-orientated, delivering tangible benefits to the individual and the organisation. Having worked at board and MD level myself, I understand the challenges of leadership in the business world - the challenges of inspiring and leading a team of people in a competitive market place, of balancing a demanding job with the demands of the family and of maintaining equilibrium in an ever changing world.
